Okay... enough.. I have this blog for a reason. It's time I start using it. Have made several cards but have yet to upload them. Its been rough since October. My brother passed away on Halloween. Those who knew him would believe this was just his way of getting the last joke in. He was quite a goofball. If you looked up practical joker in the dictionary it would be his picture that you would see. He lived a short 45 years on this earth but will live forever in our hearts!!!!!

On top of all of the holidays and everyday stuff I have been under the weather for over a month... but hopefully I will be back to "normal" soon.

I have exciting news to share with you plus my granddaughter is due to be born this month... so watch out blog... I am sure there will be lots of pictures posted soon...LOL

So..... I am off to upload some cards. Take Care!!

Halloween Spider Treats

These are cute spiders I seen on splitcoast. The original ones I seen were done using a York pepperment patty. I choose to use lollipops for our 4-H kids. I used Stampin Up punches. I think they turned out pretty cute. They are time consuming just to make a couple but when you make them in quantity you can do them assembly line style and they go much faster. They are definately worth doing!!!! Enjoy

Western Birthday Card

This card was made using Stampin' Up products. I was a really easy card to make. I loved how it turned out. I got the idea from this card http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/923347?si=bronc%20buster&perpage=12&thumbsonly=0&thumbcheck. I decided to make the stars look more like the 3-D barn stars.

Beware.... just a little sick humor!!!

Okay, Okay... I know this is a little warped but you have to hear how this card came about. It was done as a joke. This stamp set is called Loads of Love sold by Stampin' Up. It was my very first stamp set purchase so of course I made lots of cards using this set. A co-worker of mine asked for a sympathy card but I said all I have is the Loads of Love stamp set. So I told her that I could make her one with a casket in the back of the pickup. We both had our laughs and joked about it so......... Needless to say..... I couldn't resist doing it. (And yes.... I did make a real sympathy card too.)

Party Favor Purse

I made this pure a while back. I used my crimper to make the handle for the purse. The flower was made using cuttlebug dies. I found the purse template online somewhere. Sorry I can't remember where I found it. This would make a great treat pouch for valentines day or a bridal shower. I only made one of these just to see if I could do it. :-)

Engagement Congrats Card

This was a fun card to make. It was for a very sweet lady that came to my office today and wanted a special card for a relative's engagement. She requested the scripture inside. I am pleased how it turned out. I hope she likes it too.

Ladybug Card

This card was my very first one in my gallery at Splitcoast Stampers. That is the most awesome website for stampers. This card is made using Stampin' Up products. The ladybug is made using the perfect petals stamp set and the designer paper is called cutie pie. I just love making criss cross cards. They are so simple to make.
